  • Australia’s Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC)

  • -- The DIAC applies the law in a strict manner.

-- Australia's Immigration law is very complex, and more and more restrictive.

-- The DIAC states numerous times on its web-site that a person does not have to use a migration agent. But, the DIAC does not offer immigration assistance of the type provided by registered migration agents/lawyers who are professionals in the understanding of the immigration law and regulations.

-- A large amount of this firm’s cases deal with rejections by DIAC in the primary stage, or after a person’s visa has been cancelled.

-- An applicant has to remember that it is the DIAC that is deciding their case. DIAC's role is not to prepare the application. That is why we believe that if the refused visa applicants had used the services of a registered migration agent, the applicant would have had a much better likelihood of approval; or, if the agent worked out a plan for the applicant, then a more satisfactory result would happen in the end.

  • We cater to individuals, Corporate and Government institutions in advising if an application may or not fail.

  • Although the Department of Immigration and Citizenship states that a person does not have to use a migration agent, the success rate for applications lodged through migration agents is higher.

  • We prepare and monitor the application process and regularly contact the Immigration Department as required for an application.

  • If an application is rejected, we are able to represent an applicant in the relevant tribunal. (Refugee Review Tribunal or Migration Review Tribunal). This is a separate process to the application to the Immigration Department and incurs additional fees and costs for the tribunal and our firm.

  • Should one of the Tribunals reject an application, we assess if it is a good idea to go to court for a review of the Tribunal's decision. This also incurs fees and costs, and we may need the assistance of a barrister to assess the application.

  • Our sincere desire is to seek the best outcome for our clients. We do this by providing a service that is aware of the Immigration law and regulations. It is our belief that by using our services a client receives a cost effective and time effective service.

  • In relation to corporate and government institutions, we are able to handle all the relevant paperwork associated with any number of applications for the client. By out-sourcing this process to our firm, the client is assured of the most efficient method of handling their immigration workload. Naturally, given the number of applications, there would be a discount in our fees.

  • We look forward to assisting any client who seeks the use of our firm.
